The BGC was founded in order to provide a platform that both uplifts Brown girls and supports local minority businesses.
BGC Mission Statement
The BCG is an overdue project that aims to serve the community of brown girls pursuing endeavors they may not have the resources for. Brown girls can spend a great amount of their life feeling as though their skin color is a burden or a setback when it comes to trying new things or pursuing what they truly want to do. The goal of the BGC is to relieve them of this internal stress while additionally helping support local businesses. We want to cater to all types of brown girls through contacting and getting resources from different local businesses to distribute back to the community as well as curating different events to build an enduring, loving community of brown girls. Please join us in our journey to uplift as many girls as possible!

We are a team of teens from all over the Austin-area, dedicated to curating projects that will benefit the community of brown girls in our city.

Our first official project is creating wellness-packages for brown girls in Austin. They will contain various self-care items purchased from local businesses with donations from the community.
